The Baseline Review

We love hoops, history, and the art of printmaking. That's why we are creating a book that celebrates iconic players in NBA history. We’ve teamed up with over 30 amazing writers to dig into these inspiring tales from the hardwood! We’re also collaborating with over 30 of our favorite illustrators to help with supporting visuals for the stories! This an absolute creative dream team. We are so hyped on the work and hope you will be, too! The Baseline Review is produced by Editor-in-Chief JP Boneyard & Fifty-Nine Parks.

SCREENPRINTED STORIES?
Ok, so you’re probably thinking “Why the H would you make screenprinted—and giclee—versions of these stories?” We’re leaning into our printmaking background to make something unique that will also help us kickstart the rest of the content for the full book. In short, when you buy an individual story for your favorite player and we will use those funds to produce the next story.

 The target date for the full book is Spring 2027. Our publishers at Random House & Insight Editions will likely be the home for this title, too (🤞🏽). A portion of the sale of each stand-alone story is donated to basketball youth programs in the USA.
